Ryohei ARINAKA joined LAVOIX in April 2014. He started his career as an electrical engineer at IBM Japan, Ltd. and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc., and was engaged in developing hard-disk drives for 5 years.
After this industry experience, he stepped into the IP field, and worked for a well-known IP law firm in Tokyo for 5 years and a German IP law firm for one year.
He is a registered Japanese Patent Attorney and specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Japan and Europe. Therefore, he is not only well-versed in Japanese patent law and prosecution but also has extensive knowledge and experience involving patent prosecution in Europe. He is fluent in Japanese.
