He started his career as an electrical engineer at IBM Japan, Ltd. and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc., and was engaged in developing hard-disk drives for 5 years.
After this industry experience, he stepped into the IP field, and worked for a well-known IP law firm in Tokyo for 5 years and a German IP law firm for one year.
He is a registered Japanese Patent Attorney and specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Japan and Europe. Therefore, he is not only well-versed in Japanese patent law and prosecution but also has extensive knowledge and experience involving patent prosecution in Europe. He is fluent in Japanese.
