After several experiences in industry, in particular in a French group specialized in purchasing, transporting and distributing natural gas, a French company specialized in manufacturing boats, and a large group specialized in rail transport, Romain TOUCAS, drawn to the diversity of the activity sectors addressed by Patent and Trademark Attorneys, spent some time as a patent engineer in an intellectual property firm before joining LAVOIX in 2015, attracted to the client relationship policy developed within our firm.

Professional Experience
With a degree from ECAM Lyon, Romain provides LAVOIX’s clients with true expertise in drafting new patent applications relative to innovations in the fields of mechanics, electricity and physics. Thanks to his training and experience, Romain TOUCAS also monitors grant proceedings in France and abroad, as well as oppositions before the European Patent Office.
In order always to provide substantiated recommendations for innovations, Romain TOUCAS is also responsible for conducting patentability studies as well as validity and freedom to operate studies.
Romain works in close collaboration with the LAVOIX partners both for large global groups and for SMEs.
