An engineer by training, Nicolas CORNET joined LAVOIX in 2004 after first working at another firm. He has been a partner since 2009.

Nicolas works mainly in the mechanical field, in particular drafting and examining patent applications, directly with the National Institute of Intellectual Property and the European Patent Office, as well as in other countries through the network of corresponding local LAVOIX offices. He works more specifically in the following fields: motor vehicles, aeronautics, railroad, fuel and energy production (nuclear, solar, methanization, biomass torrefaction), sailing, drones, and agricultural machines.
He also files third-party observations or oppositions against the grant of competing patents, in particular before the European Patent Office, to assist in case of disputes before the courts or for patent portfolio audits.
He is a member of the APEB (European Association of Patent Practitioners) [Association des Praticiens Européens des Brevets].
