Having initially joined Lavoix in 2009, Anne Francastel, who is Franco-German, moved to Lavoix’s Munich office in 2014 prior to becoming a partner in 2017. An engineer by training, she primarily works on behalf of clients in the medical devices and metallurgy fields, as well as the railway and nuclear sectors.
Anne’s areas of engagement include drafting of new patent applications, and representing companies and entities in matters such as drafting and prosecution of patent applications, opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO (European Patent Office) and the DPMA (German Patent and Trademark Office). She also carries out patentability and freedom to operate studies.
Anne has a dual qualification as patent attorney in France (Conseil en Propriété Industrielle CPI) and in Germany (Patentanwalt).
