Stéphanie MICHIELS joined the profession in 1997 as an in-house attorney for a major pharmaceutical company. She then practiced in the UK for leading IP law firms in London.

She has acquired particular expertise in the fields of pharmaceuticals, natural products and human therapy, and advises clients in all aspects of patent practice such as prosecution, opposition and appeal before the EPO, as well as infringement and validity issues.
She joined LAVOIX in 2003 and her practice at LAVOIX also includes litigation as well as due diligence reviews. She regularly lectures on IP law and issues and runs training courses.
