New resolution concerning Argentinian patent applications: Status of the application under priority

The Argentinian authorities issued a new Resolution concerning patent applications in which at least one foreign priority has been claimed.

For all patent applications filed before January 1, 2013 and claiming priority from a foreign application, the applicant is requested to inform the office prior to December 31, 2012 whether the priority application has been allowed to grant or not. Failure to timely reply will result in the abandonment of the Argentinian application.

It is not necessary to submit a copy of the granted patent or of the application under priority.

Lavoix will contact you on a case to case basis concerning the Argentinian applications entrusted to Lavoix.
