After beginning his career as a research engineer, then as a project manager in a company designing and manufacturing missiles, Olivier ROCHER joined LAVOIX in 2007. He has been a partner since 2012 and member of the Executive Committee since 2019.

Olivier is involved in drafting new patent applications, monitoring patent grant procedures in France and abroad, and carrying out studies on patentability, validity and freedom to operate.
He also works on disputes (infringement seizures, infringement actions, opposition procedures), in particular on essential patents related to telecommunications standards. His primary fields are: software, electronics, aeronautics, telecommunications, electrical energy conversion and imaging systems.
He is also a trainer at the CEIPI (Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies) to prepare for the European qualifying exam.
