Professional experience
Giovanni’s activity was marked by support for research and development projects, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and financial management of a portfolio of trademarks and patents. He also participated in many European and international disputes, including for anti-infringement activities in the Middle and Far East. He developed IP strategies, conducted freedom to operate studies, performed audits, negotiated licenses, and specialized in the issue of employee inventions and patent ownership.
He handled many patent grant procedures, as well as patent validity and enforceability consultations. Giovanni also participated in training future professionals and was a member of several qualification exam committees as an Italian Patent Attorney.
